Overview |
The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is proud to present an IZA World of Labor event:
Does Aid Work?
The panel discussion aims to provide a professional and independent platform for evidence-based debate among policy-makers, development specialists and academics on key issues surrounding global aid policies. The event, which brings together a panel of speakers from the international development community, will focus on the following questions: what does the aid landscape look like today? what impact does aid have in the long term? and, how can aid pave the way for trade and other sustainable models of development?
The event will feature Professor Klaus F. Zimmermann (Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) and IZA World of Labor), Professor Lord Meghnad Desai (LSE), David A. Robalino (World Bank), and Professor Gianmarco Ottoviano (LSE and University of Bologna).
IZA World of Labor (wol.iza.org) provides politicians, journalists and economists with clear and concise evidence-based scientific knowledge on labour economics issues worldwide.
