About the Workshop

We are pleased to announce the 4th Annual Workshop on Gender and Family Economics. The focus in 2021 will be on gender economics and centered around the theme of this year’s UN International Women’s Day: "Women in Leadership".
We invite contributions from both senior and junior researchers that focus on:
  • Executive women in the private and public sector
  • Women in politics
  • Labor market outcomes for highly skilled women
  • Similar topics related to “Women in Leadership”
The workshop will be held online. We are going to combine usual paper presentations and discussions with a new format in which papers of junior researchers are discussed in small groups. The workshop will enable participants to engage in discussion of and receive valuable feedback on pressing issues in research and policy around this year’s theme.
Given the anticipated popularity of this workshop, we will not be able to accommodate everyone's request to participate. In fairness, we expect, anyone accepted to the workshop to commit to participating for the full two days.

Submissions

Researchers interested in participating should submit an extended abstract or a full paper by May 15, 2021 using the online application form.
Notifications will be sent by July 1,2021.
