||Giulio Zanella is associate professor of economics at the University of Bologna, Italy, since 2010.
His research interests span labor economics, social economics, applied econometrics, and macroeconomics. Before joining the University of Bologna, he was assistant professor of economics at the University of Siena, Italy (2005-2009), and visiting assistant professor of Economics at the University of California-Santa Barbara (2009).
He received a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Siena (2004), and a MSc in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2005), where he was first visiting researcher (2002-2003) and then graduate student (2004-2005)
Giulio joined IZA as a Research Fellow in November 2016.
