Frank Windmeijer

Frank Windmeijer is Professor of Econometrics at the University of Bristol. He obtained his Ph.D. in Econometrics from the University of Amsterdam in 1992 for his dissertation on goodness-of-fit measures in linear and qualitative choice models. He has been a lecturer at the same university, and also a researcher at the Foundation for Economic Research (SEO). From July 1992 to December 1993, he was a visiting fellow at the department of statistics at the Australian National University. In September 1994 he received an HCM research grant from the European Commission at University College London. From 1996 until 2005, he was a senior research officer at the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS).
Frank Windmeijer's research interests are in particular panel data, count data, endogeneity and GMM, and health economics.

He was an IZA Research Fellow from December 1998 until October 2015.
