too w Ziegler Lennart Ziegler is a PhD candidate in economics at VU University Amsterdam and the University of Amsterdam. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Mannheim, he obtained an MPhil degree from the Tinbergen Institute in 2013. In Spring 2016, Lennart was a visiting scholar at the economics department of UC Berkeley.

His main research interests are labor economics, education and applied microeconometrics. In his research, he focuses on intergenerational mobility and inequality, and the effects of active labor market policies.

Lennart joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in March 2017.
