Das wöchentlich stattfindende IZA Research Seminar stellt ein Diskussionsforum der neuesten arbeitsmarktökonomischen Forschung dar. Es wird gleichermaßen von IZA-Mitarbeitern, Gästen, Studenten und Fakultätsmitgliedern der Universität Bonn, Politikern und Vertretern anderer Interessengruppen besucht. Einige Veranstaltungen (durch * gekennzeichnet) werden gemeinsam mit der OECD organisiert. Alle Präsentationen werden in englischer Sprache gehalten und sind für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich. Das IZA Research Seminar beginnt um 12.00 Uhr mit einem gemeinsamen Imbiss, der vom IZA bereitgestellt wird. Der Vortrag mit anschließender Diskussion beginnt um 12.15 Uhr und endet um 13.30 Uhr.
