Abstract:

Paper 1: Triangular Human Capital Flows between Sending, Entrepot and the Rest of the World Regions

A model of immigrant circulation is outlined to explain the modern triangular movement of highly skilled immigrants from a sending country (China/India) to an entrepot country (Canada) and then possibly on to the rest of the world. The actions of entrepot country agents which condition this triangular flow are discussed in detail.
